Thank you to the members of Plano Fire-Rescue who represented Plano well at the 9/11 Dallas Memorial Stair Climb on September 6, 2025. Among the climbers were three chiefs—the Plano Fire Chief, an Assistant Chief and a Battalion Chief—and several firefighters with decades of experience. That speaks volumes, it is leadership in action. It’s a grueling climb, but PFR climbed because the 343 climbed. May we never forget the sacrifice of the 343 firefighters who gave their lives in service to our country.
